Healing
from Emotional Pain
We haven't got
any more tolerance for pain, not our own, and not others'.
So
we've devoted a lot of time and energy to learning some effective
methods of healing from emotional pain. Yaakov is trained in
spiritual therapy based on Jewish experience and sources, and
Varda is
experienced in using journal writing and poetry to reach the inner
knowing that arouses healing.
Moving
Towards Self-Fulfullment
We also realize that in these strange and
perilous times every well-meaning individual --each one of us-- must
fully bring out our
own resources, our own abilities, our own light. This always stems from
and leads straight back to the basis of our very being, straight to our
inner vision. It's our higher, expanded Self, and it intimately knows
answers beyond those which the mind can "figure out."
To the degree in which we live in
these
realities, we are able to see through the illusion which surrounds us
and seems to have the upper hand in many of the world's events.
"Illusion, having no ground to stand on, never bites the dust." (R. Meir Abehsera in "The Possible Man"). The
"masters of illusion" of our time, like all masters of illusion
throughout history, move fast, remain on the run, making sure we never
quite see them, much less grasp them. But we suspect that when
they are seen through with
the eyes of truth, which is never hidden or obscured, they lose their
power. In his classic book of the Jewish spiritual life, "The Tanya,"
Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi writes: "In truth, there is no substance
whatsoever in the side of the negative forces ('sitra achra'). That is why it is
compared to darkness, which has no substance whatsoever, and is
automatically banished by the presence of light."
To help achieve this discernment,
which
is so important for all
of us, we use the same modalities as we use for healing from emotional
pain.
The
subconscious knows exactly where it needs to go in order to bring about
healing and self-fulfillment. In our private sessions, a deeply
personal
path is developed for each person, by
the person himself. Our
job is to facilitate.
